The US Space and Rocket Center
presents
Space Laboratories -Science in Orbit
Exhibit Description
This year, SpacePort USA features the US Space and Rocket Center's Space Laboratories: Science in
Orbit exhibit. Since this exhibit is 4,000+ sq feet,
the Monroe County Fair's Dome Arena is one of the few venues in our area that can house it.
You will be able to walk through a full-scale mock-up of the U.S. Destiny laboratory. You can explore the science, engineering, and physical and cultural challenges of conducting space research.
Skylab, Spacelab, Mir, and the International Space Station have allowed us to answer vital questions about how humans, animals, and plants function
in space.
Come out and see it for yourself!
