    About Xtreme Band Mania
    Xtreme Band Mania is a Battle of the Bands that
    is produced by the Monroe County Fair's Youth Committee. To qualify, bands must be comprised of members with an avarage age of 19 or younger. All band members must be 13 or older. Band Members must live in one of the seven counties listed below.

    Our Spring Competition will be held Friday, May 13th, 2011, and hosted by our 2010 Xtreme Band Mania winner. The top three bands from the Spring Competition will compete at Xtreme Band Mania - MCFAIR. (1pm-6:30pm, Saturday July 16, 2011 at the Monroe County Fair.

    Extreme Band Mania SPRING! - Guidelines

    1. We are accepting entries from any band whose members reside in one of the following seven counties:

    • Monroe
    • Wayne
    • Ontario
    • Livingston
    • Genesee
    • Orleans
    • Seneca

    2. Band must be available to perform on Friday, May 13, 2011 between 7pm and 12am. They must also be available available to compete on July 16, 2011 at the Monroe County Fair.

    3. Band must be comprised of members with an average age of 19 years or younger. Minimum age is 13. Members must reside in the seven county region listed above.

    4. Band will be asked to peform a 20 minute set. Performance may include "original music" or "cover". Please note: because the Monroe County Fair and Recreation Association is a youth oriented organization, X-rated lyrics may not be included.

    5. The Monroe County Fair will provide a PA System. Each band will be required to bring any additional needs. Pyrotechnics are not allowed.

    6. Prior to performing, each band member will be required to sign and abide by the competition rules.

    7. The Monroe County Fair and Recreation Association or its sponsors are not liable for any loss or damage to band equipment, posessions or instruments prior to, during or after the event.
